Well, I haven't been doing much with this page, but I have been busy, elsewhere.
Let's See...
I created a few new lenses at Squidoo.
Life with Simon introduces one of the newest members of our furry family, Silly Simon.
I created Vegetarian Holidays to help people who are trying to serve compassionate meals over the holiday season, or are just looking for a few ideas for great vegetarian dishes to serve.
I've also been updating Squidoo's Shopping HQ with fun gift ideas for the holidays.
I'm working on updating the ferret blog, with a new name, Silly Ferrets and new ideas.
You can usually find a few new photos on my photoblog, JulianneGentile.com

IAMPROHEART.COM
Check out this site for information about the value of taking aspirin. Check with your doctor before you start taking a daily aspirin, but there is definitely a lot of reasons to do so. Anyway, at this site you can order a really cool little aspirin dispenser key chain, so you will always have aspirin available at hand if you or someone with you thinks they are having a heart attack.
Generally, if someone is possibly having a heart attack, but they are alert and conscious, the process is to first call 911, then second, give the person a baby aspirin.
On this site, you can order the key chain for a small $5 donation.

San Francisco Bans Happy Meal Toys
So this story is all over the news. If you missed it for some reason, here is a link to the story as posted on Cleveland.com.
It's funny to see all the aggression and excitement over this. It's McDonald's! Who cares, right? Apparently, a lot of people care, and they care a lot.
It's funny to see how political the reactions are, too. The Democrats are for the ban and the Republicans are against it.
I personally hate McDonald's and I'm happy to see anything that forces them to offer healthier choices for kids.
Sure, I agree that Mom and Dad should be the one that decides what their children eats, but I don't think they are doing such a great job. I see obese children going to places like McDonald's and eating dinner with their obese parents. Maybe they need to choose a healthier option?
Our family enjoys quick meals from time to time, but since we are vegetarians places like McDonald's has nothing for us. Even the french fries are made with beef juice! I'd be happy to see a few more fruits and vegetables on menus, especially those targeted to kids.
Anyway, that's my .02. If you're still reading this far, I'd love to hear (see) your comments. Please feel free to add them.
