Our family loves movies! I even had a part time job at the local video store, primarily for the benefit of 5 free rentals each week. The children really loved that!
We are huge fans of Netflix, and we also keep our TiVos stocked with great shows to watch, day or night. We are so lucky with the Internet and all these great services, that we can find almost any movie, no matter how old it is, to either rent or buy, and receive them in a matter of days.
I remember the old days when you had to special order movies from these overpriced stores and it would take weeks to get them. Not anymore. With services like Amazon Unbox and iTunes, we can often download a special program or movie to watch immediately. This is perfect for those times when you can't find anything good, and you want to watch something right away, without having to leave the house.

It's perfect for nights when you want to see a new movie, but don't feel like leaving the house. We also use this if we have guests coming and want to download a fun movie that everyone would enjoy.

If you live near a Blockbuster store, this is one of the best plans available. Not only do you get the convenience of having movies delivered to your door, but you also have the option of picking up and dropping off movies at your local Blockbuster. Sign up with Blockbuster and you can get 3 movies out at a time with 5 in-store exchanges. Your first month is only $9.99!
Download Videos and Television Shows with iTunes
iTunes is a terrific service! You can legally download music, videos, television shows, podcasts, and audio books, whenever you want to. With their all new season pass, you can get automatic downloads to your favorite shows! You may also download one single show, if you prefer. We love ITunes for travelling. If you have a laptop, or an iPod, you can download the children's favorites to play on the road or in the hotel. This is much more convenient than bringing along a bunch of CDs and DVDs or paying the huge fees from the hotels. You do not need an iPod to use iTunes. You may download to your computer and enjoy your downloads that way.
eBay is a fantastic place to shop for Music and Video, particularly if you are looking for imports and rare items or sheet music. It's also a great place to shop for deals on the lastest CDs and DVDs as well.

Right now TiVo is offering both the box and the service together for as little as $12.95 per month! This is such a great deal that we just ordered our second TiVo. Now we can transfer movies and TV shows from one TV to the other one, listen to music or view photos from our network on either TiVo, or play Yahoo Games! I do not know how I ever lived before I had TiVo, but it is truly one of my most favorite toys (tied with my laptop). TiVo also makes the most thoughtful gift for anyone, including yourself!
