About The Mommy Mall
I have devoted my life to animal welfare and animal rescue. Rescuing animals and providing them with a loving home, veterinary care, and high quality food is a very expensive undertaking, but I feel that animals deserve all that we can give them. Since my education and skills include marketing and web development, I publish websites for the purpose of raising money to care for rescue pets. This is one of those websites. The proceeds from this website are used to support rescue pets.
Purchases originating from the links on this website help rescue animals in need. While we are compensated for most of the links on our website, we only recommend products and services that we would feel comfortable recommending to our own family and friends.

Below are just a few of the press releases and site mentions we have received over the years. Sometimes it is fun to look back and see how and when The Mommy Mall™ got started. The Mommy Mall started out as a list of my favorite links, back in 1996. I was just getting started as a Web designer and discovered that there were a growing number of entrepreneurs who needed a place to promote their goods and services online.
I had a dream to provide an exclusive, online shopping center that would showcase small businesses, while at the same time providing a unique shopping experience for women online. Small businesses often do not have the budget to purchase online advertising, so the mall's purpose was to pool the resources of several businesses and provide some of the advantages that larger ones have. The Mommy Mall is divided into "shops" that categorize the businesses by function, such as the Baby Shop, Gift Shop or the Opportunity Shop. The vendors in the mall are selected from many membership requests, for their quality, customer service and value to the community.
With the growth of affiliate marketing over the years, the dynamic of the mall has changed somewhat. The Mommy Mall still strives to promote small businesses, by offering low cost advertising at the top of our pages, but we also have the opportunity to provide our visitors with our personal reviews of major retailers and announcements of sales and special offers.
Today online malls are a dime a dozen, and many of them are nothing but lists of automated links, with no personality, no life, nothing even remotely like the brick and mortar malls that they are named for. The Mommy Mall has grown and changed over the years, but one thing has never changed, this site has always been and always will be owned and operated by a mom. I personally visit, shop, and review the links on this Web site. Occasionally, I have help from my family and friends, but this will always be my baby.
Currently, The Mommy Mall is part of a network of sites that cover some of my family's passions, while helping to raise money for rescue pets. In addition to the Mall, I publish websites for parents, gamers, recipes, vegetarians, ferret lovers, and my hometown, Cleveland, Ohio. Feel free to look around, and enjoy your visit.
