NEW PARENTING NETWORK CREATED BY PARENTS FOR PARENTS

The Mommy Mall Launches A New Grass-Roots Parenting Network.

Cleveland OH - (February 22, 1999) - Julianne Gentile, owner of The Mommy Mall, celebrates her second anniversary as a work-at-home mom, with the launch of a new community-driven parenting network.

"The Mommy Mall has grown so much in the past two years and a community of small business owners and parents has developed as a result," says Mommy Mall creator, Julianne Gentile. "In order to keep the focus of The Mommy Mall on shopping and provide more for our community, I created Parents Cafe."

Teaming up with a group of entrepreneurial women from around the globe, Gentile has created a network of parenting sites that focus on the realities of life as a parent, as well as the personal interests we have that don't involve our children.

Julianne Gentile, creator of Parents Cafe said, "Although the site is for parents, the focus is on all the things we are and do and love in addition to being parents."

"We are all work-at-home parents who met on the Internet, and now we're working via e-mail and the Web to create a site which we feel, fills a gap in the parenting site market, offering shopping, educational content, free graphics, health information, and a special place for dads. All within a site that recognizes that parenting is hard and emotionally challenging but also a joy," Gentile said.

The site's topical areas include astrology, humor, pets, science fiction, sports, working at home, seasonal features, child safety, cooking, frugal parenting, natural health, and more. For more information, visit http://www.parentscafe.com/.

About The Mommy Mall
The Mommy Mall was created when owner and maintainer, Julianne Gentile, having found success in her online business, wanted to share her skills with the community that encouraged and supported her. She had a dream to create an environment that would showcase small businesses while at the same time providing a unique shopping experience for women online. Small businesses often do not have the budget to purchase online advertising, so the mall's purpose was to pool the resources of several businesses and provide some of the advantages that larger ones have. The Mommy Mall is divided into "shops" that categorize the businesses by function, such as the Baby Shop, Gift Shop or the Opportunity Shop. The vendors in the mall are selected from many membership requests, for their quality, customer service and value to the community. The Mommy Mall can be found on the World Wide Web at http://www.mommymall.com/.
